Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the booking terms for the Bow Disciples Exclusive Bowhunting Safari hosted by Elands River Safaris. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making your reservation. By paying your deposit and/or participating in the safari, you agree to the following:

1. Booking and Payment

• A $1,000 deposit is required to secure your spot on the safari.

• The deposit is 100% non-refundable due to commitments made by Elands River Safaris for booking facilities, guides, catering, and other trip-related services well in advance.

• The remaining balance of the total package price must be paid in full by January 2026. Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in forfeiture of your spot without refund.

• Payment of the deposit and full payment must be made via the approved payment methods listed on the booking platform.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Because of the advance nature of planning and contractual obligations, the deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Personal cancellation

• Travel restrictions

• Illness or injury

• Changes in personal circumstances

In the rare case that Elands River Safaris or Bow Disciples cancels the trip, all payments made by clients will be refunded in full.

3. Deposit Confirmation and Communication

• Once your deposit payment is confirmed, you will be added to an exclusive WhatsApp group with the Bow Disciples team and fellow hunters.

• This group will provide ongoing information, updates, advice, and support related to the safari.

• Participation in this group is voluntary but highly encouraged to enhance your experience and preparation.

4. Package Details and Inclusions

• The safari package includes accommodations, meals, specified hunts, transfers, and other inclusions as described on the booking page.

• Air fare is not included or covered for both the hunter and observer. Return tickets to the United States, all round trip, are roughly $1,600 total.

• Every hunter will have their own private room, but if they bring an observer, they will share with their observer.

• Daily laundry services are included.

• Any substitutions or special requests must be agreed upon prior to final payment.

5. Changes to Booking

• Changes to your booking, including trip dates or package modifications, are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

• Requests for changes must be submitted in writing and approved by Elands River Safaris.

6. Liability and Responsibility

• Participants acknowledge that hunting safaris carry inherent risks. By booking and participating, you assume all risks related to travel, hunting activities, and wildlife interaction.

• Elands River Safaris and Bow Disciples shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
